6 Ways To Become A More Productive Network Marketer (SDI Entrepreneur)

As a network marketer, being productive with your time and opportunities can have big pay offs. When you master productivity, you’ll have greater success in building your business and making sales.

If you’re always looking for ways to improve your business and be more successful at earning additional income, becoming more productive is an excellent way to do this.

Make the Most of Every Opportunity

First, make the most of every opportunity you have. Whether you are attending an event, meeting friends for lunch, have an hour of down time or have been offered a new business opportunity, find a way to make the most of it.

This isn’t to say that all of your time should be spent focusing on your business or working, but when you take advantage of opportunities as they arise, you’ll be able to advance your business.

Set Aside Time in Your Schedule for Important Tasks

If you don’t make time to do things, chances are they won’t get done. When you have important tasks or major projects to complete, schedule time to work on them. This may mean blocking out time to get your contact list in order.  From there, carve out an hour or two each day to reach out to these potential clients.

Another great habit to get into is to set aside some time each day to get things like emails, phone calls, planning and other day-to-day tasks out of the way. Then, when these things are taken care of, you can focus on other tasks.  A very effective and productive activity I do at the end of my day is to make a list of 5-10 prospects who I will be calling in the morning.

Keep a List of Daily Priorities

Every morning, make a list of things that you need to accomplish that day. Make these items your priority and work to cross them all off the list. Then, when these are done, you can focus your efforts on other projects, or spend time doing things you enjoy, like spending time with family or pursuing hobbies. One of the biggest benefits of network marketing is that it allows you to live the dream life, working less and spending more time doing the things you love.

Work with an Effective Team

Working with an effective team can vastly improve your productivity. When you work with people who are good at what they do and are reliable and dependable, you can accomplish more as a group than you could on your own. You can divide responsibility and delegate tasks.

When you aren’t trying to do everything yourself, but can depend on a powerful team, you will be much more productive and find that you have more time on your hands to complete other tasks or to enjoy the perks of network marketing, like more time to spend the way you want.

Build a Residual Income

As a business coach in Ottawa, I help people start businesses and earn residual income. Residual income is earned over a long period of time and for one piece of work. With a traditional income, the money you earn is dependent on the amount of work you do, but with a residual income, you can continue to earn money for one thing over a period of time. Renting real estate properties, writing ebooks and doing design work are all common ways of earning residual income.

It’s possible to earn residual income on the side to earn some extra money, but it’s also possible to turn your passion into an income stream that provides a substantial income. This is the ultimate form of productivity, because your earning levels for just one piece of work are very high, making it possible for you to work less but earn more.

Set Deadlines and Goals

Setting deadlines for projects and for accomplishing goals is one of the best ways to become more productive. When you are consistently working toward specific things, and hold yourself to deadlines, you will be more productive and accomplish so much more.

A study conducted by Dominican University of California found that people who thought about their goals, wrote them down, made action commitments and sent a weekly progress report to a friend accomplished an average of 76 percent of their goals.

The takeaway? That when we put thought and planning into our goals, write them down, create an action plan and then hold ourselves accountable, we are much more likely to be successful.

Becoming a more productive network marketer will help you reach your goals, earn more money and live the lifestyle you want. The key is to use these tips and form productive habits that help you accomplish more.
